Equicare Services was founded in 2013 as a registered domiciliary care company providing care services in North West London and the surrounding areas.
We are a family run company with a deep appreciation of the care industry and the need to provide the highest level of care to vulnerable children and adults in our area.
We are always looking at ways in which to improve our offering while working closely with the regulator, local authorities and other leading care professional bodies.
The history of Equicare Services
Although we have grown in size, our core values remain central to our day to day operations
Meet the team
Our management team have a diverse background, however, are all familiar with the local area we operate in. We have a combined 45+ years in the care industry and specifically in the domiciliary care setting, which gives us a great foundation to work from.
Operations Director (Registered Manager)
I was blessed 10 years ago with the opportunity to work in the care sector.
Within a short period of time I discovered I had a real passion for this role and the way it allowed me to make a difference in people’s lives. I realised my presence and assistance could make a real difference to someone’s outlook, and I find this a privilege.
I truly feel that we all deserve respect and dignity and person centred care, just a smile and a friendly gesture can brighten an individual’s day. There is nothing that gives me greater joy than experiencing the turnaround in a client’s health and well-being while working with the families to achieve a better quality of life.
As the Operations Director and Registered Manager, I genuinely believe I can practice and demonstrate that care is delivered to all as equals. My ethos is ” To treat all clients as you would want your loved ones to be cared for.“
I am a caring and understanding person, able to empathise with any situation as I have experienced first-hand in care for the past 18 years.
My experience is over a cross section of the domiciliary care sector with knowledge ranging from hands on care through to quality assurance and compliance roles, including specialising in Dementia Care. I have been CQC registered to manage 3 domiciliary care companies previously with Good to Outstanding KLOEs as outcomes.
I have an acute awareness of all governmental and organisation guidelines, especially prevention of health and safety and safeguarding adult abuse issues.
I design each care package to accommodate our clients’ needs thus, treating each person as an individual while allowing both carers and families to be involved in the end-to-end planning of care.
I believe that the skills I have acquired throughout my years in caring enable me to maintain and improve services within the organisation by proposing and contributing to the evaluation of all changes and feel proud to be part of the team.
I have been in the care industry for over 15 years, starting off as a care assistant and working my way up through team leading duties and onto managerial positions.
Currently I am based in the office Monday to Friday and responsible for the coordination of care duties across the company. I have a great team at Equicare Services and because of this I enjoy coming to work every day.
My aim is to grow within the company and expand my knowledge further in Health and Social care in order to provide the highest level of service that both my clients and staff deserve.
Most of all I enjoy working with my clients, being able to help them and promote them in having their independence whilst living at home, despite needing help, is a great feeling and is very rewarding to know that I can help someone feel that little bit better knowing that they have the support.
I began working in the Care industry in 2015 after deciding I wanted to choose a path that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.
Within my role in Equicare, I work closely with all staff and clients, ensuring that we provide a continuous high-quality service.
I thoroughly enjoy working with Equicare, everybody works well together, and carers are passionate about their job. I work extremely hard to ensure clients are happy with the service and it is a big reward to hear positive feedback. Each person in our team has an important role to play, and I am proud to be a part of that.
We are always looking for opportunities to get involved with fayres, fetes, charities, sponsored events, coffee mornings and volunteering, so feel free to contact me if we can help at a local event.
I have been an apprentice in Healthcare since October 2019.
Before this, during school, I studied Health and Social Care in GCSEs and I then went on to studying the subject at A-Level.
I soon realised I wanted to be more hands on and make a difference to individuals lives who require care, so I looked into getting an apprenticeship within the care sector.
I enjoy working in the care industry as it is an extremely rewarding job role, especially when the clients are happy with the service. I am learning new things daily which is also another positive aspect of my role; through which I am constantly expanding my knowledge. The tasks I complete in the office help contribute overall to a high-quality service, personalised to best suit our clients.
Our pool of carers
We recognise that each person is unique and will have their own specific needs. This means that each of our clients gets the very best care available from carers that they personally approve. Because we work to these high standards, we attract the best quality carers, so you can be sure that whoever you choose your choice will be just right.
We recognise that our carers are key to providing successful services and we invest time and effort into training all our carers to a high standard. We are one of the few agencies that will endeavour to provide carers that meet your religious, cultural and language preferences.
